Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father, a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born on May 5, 1998. Her career has seen her won twelve WTA singles titles, including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. When it comes to doubles, she's an excellent player. She has won two Majors in the past with Elise Mertens, the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. In 2019, she was the winner of both her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing the Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples playing in female doubles. Only four couples that achieved this feat in women's doubles. That same year she took home the title at Melbourne, and after that moved up to number one worldwide for doubles. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach throughout 2018, up until her season came to an end in 2019, and also for a short time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from August through September 2020. She has been trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her heroes.
